Although compatible toner cartridges are substantially cheaper
than OEM cartridges, it still costs a certain amount of money to manufacture them properly.
Quality toner costs money. So do replacement drums. And cleaning blades, mag rollers, PCR rollers and all of the other parts that a company needs to replace in each cartridge to make it work the way it should - and the way you demand it to.
And don't forget labor, testing, packaging, logistics, etc ...
If a brand new OEM toner cartridge is $200 and a company is selling the equivalent compatible cartridge on the internet for $20, that should tell you something.
Either it's a scam product, they didn't fill the cartridge with the correct amount of toner so that you'll order a lot more often, they didn't replace necessary parts or it may be imported from a foreign country where labor is extremely cheap and unskilled.
Remember, you can always find it cheaper. But we're local, we're there when you need us and we stand behind everything we sell. And it's hard to put a price on that.
We're not even going to pretend that we can compete with the lowest internet prices. We'd rather sell products that work!
